Finding My Weigh
Helping women find their way through the
“busy-ness” of life to achieve their goals in health and fitness
If you have the courage to start, you have the courage to succeed.
Hi there, I’m Gillian. Nice to “meet” you!
I’m a working mom of 2 kids, with an awesome husband (we call him Mr Awesome) and a super busy job. I get it. Life is non-stop, always moving, it can be overwhelming and it can be easy to put yourself last.
I always struggled with my weight and body image. I was (and still am) a stress eater. I gained a lot of weight when I was pregnant with our son and never lost it – in fact, I gained a lot more. I was 230lbs before we got pregnant with our daughter, and 247lbs when she was born. I was in love with my little family but completely unhappy with myself. I hated looking in the mirror, I avoided photos. I would delude myself with new outfits, excuses and self-depricating humour.
One day something finally clicked. I knew something had to change. I knew I had to take care of MYSELF, so that I would be able to take care of my family. I had the courage to START. I started working out and changed my eating habits. I have learned about good nutrition and using food for physical nourishment instead of emotional. I lost 80lbs and I am still keeping it off. I fell in love with fitness and built an entirely new relationship with my body and with food. And I fell in love with helping others to make healthy changes in their own lives. I became an online fitness coach to help busy women like me to break through their excuses and crush their goals.
So what about YOU? What’s your story? DO you have the courage to START? I want to help you set and achieve your goals. To find your health, your strength, your energy and your passion. You will do the work and see the results, but you won’t be ALONE. You will have me as your personal coach, and you will have our incredible accountability group to support you and keep you motivated. We are in this TOGETHER. Are you ready to START? Let’s do this!
